\nThis is very important in today's classrooms. Students who get a chance to use programs such as photo story or audacity can share their voice and creativity in projects. These kinds of programs are quickly becoming the way of the world.

\nb. develop technology-enriched learning environments that enable all students to pursue their individual curiosities and become
\nactive participants in setting their own educational goals, managing their own learning, and assessing their own progress
\n
\nAs students use technology tools to create projects, they also can assess their own learning and affectiveness at presenting the topic to the class. Students can work at their own level of experience and pace if time allows and learn new technology programs as they use them. Keeping a wiki space allows them not only to critique others, but to see what other students think about their work.
\n
\nc. customize and personalize learning activities to address students\u2019 diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources
\n
\nAll of Gardner's Multiple Intelligences can be utilized through technology. Whether it is using Microsoft Word to write linguistically, or a Power point to create a visual spatial project, or by acting out a skit, puppet show, or clay animation; students can work with and explore their own styles, strategies, and abilities.

\nd. provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content
\n
\nWith new technologies such as the SMART Board, students can be assessed quickly by using the Senteo Clickers. They can also be tested at the end of the unit again using the same strategy or any teacher-created SMART Board summative assessment. \nIn fifth grade, we have students create powerpoints while they research social studies' topics and other content areas. I plan to have the students use the computer microphones as they construct their powerpoints to develop a technology-enriched learning environment that lets them utilize their own learning style. The students will customize and personalize their learning activities with the microphones. In the evaluation on the powerpoint, I will include their use of a microphone in the rebric I create for the power point.

My fourth graders are bringing in their planet projects next week. I plan to have them record the highlights of their report and I will post their recordings around a picture of the solar system. Every planet will be represented. I like the idea of allowing them to critique themselves. I would probably apply this to video presentations that they give in my class. After giving a presentation, I think it would be great if a student made a commentary on their own video presentation as a self reflection of their project. Almost like directors of movies do on DVD's nowadays. See you in class.
