Before class begins at 3:30 Thursday:

1. Click the Discussion tab above.

2. Read the first "Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments" post by me- JoNelle Gardner.

3. Read NETS-Teachers Standard #2 and the indicators. You will make connections between indicator(s), what you learned in our last class, and your classroom.

4. Add your comments/reflections under POST MESSAGE. Click the POST button to save.

5. Some time during this class session: REPLY to at least one other post.

CLASS 5 Activities

Begin to create lessons using tools you have learned about in this course. Use a Smart Notebook Lesson Plan Template for at least ONE lesson during this course. See templates below.

VOICETHREAD

1. Create an account at Voicethread.
2. Create a Voicethread presentation that will involve your students. Choose your own topic.
3. Add at least four more identities. Icons will automatically appear and you can add your own icons/pictures later.
4. Make the first comment that includes the purpose and/or directions for your audience.
5. Use your own pictures or save some from pics4learning

GOOGLE TOOLS

1. Refer to the PowerPoint from the Google webinar at our last class session.
2. Choose a tool and create a lesson or demonstration for your classroom.
3. Find help and more directions for Google MAPS here
4. Use a Smart Notebook Lesson Plan Template for at least ONE lesson during this course. See templates below.
